Redhills seek first win!
Redhills football team have been working hard over the past 3 matches to win a game. They have already played Ladysmith, Central and Bowhill and still haven't won. We interviewed
Mr J Doyle the head teacher, Mr Price and Mr Brown the coaches. We also interviewed Ryan Rowles the captain.
"Listen to the coaches and all the advice, and practice makes perfect. Everybody likes winning but you learn more from losing as you can learn from your mistakes. " said Mr.Doyle in an interview. Although they haven't won a match yet, the Redhills football team have been improving since day one.
" We are improving every match. I am not disappointed with the team, as long as they try their hardest." said the captain Ryan Rowles. In this year six football team, there are many great players. Some of these are Liam Innalls, Ryan Rowles Tom King, Rikki Tucker and many others.
" I think we should include year 5s in the football team. I am hoping that we will be able to do well in the 5 aside football tournament. I also think that we should let girls play in the football team if they want to and if they are good enough ." said Mr.Price the coach. Our main problem is that most of our team are not used to playing on big football pitches and need more experience. We also need more competition by having more teams to play against and more people to create competition for places on the pitch. Mr Price also said "It is good fun coaching the team but we don't have enough time to train more than once a week."

Flying Saucers Take Over Redhills!
People in Redhills Community Primary School have been drawn into a new club for plate spinning learners and beginners. At lunchtimes, pupils can go to a little area where year 6 children teach them how to spin plates on sticks. Most children think this is an excellent idea for them to do an activity this exciting and they love learning even if it takes a while!
As some people liked this group Matthew Ash said" I didn't like it much because it was boring and you do the same thing over and over again." whereas Jadzia Adams and Charlotte Purnell said they liked it a lot and wanted to go again.
This has been a top hit for bored children who do the same things at lunchtimes.

Two French students came to our school how fantastic!!!
On Monday 4th of April two French students came to Redhills Community Primary School. These two French students couldn't speak a lot of English but could make out some of the words we spoke. One French student was male the other female. They definitely were lucky to come in this week because we had a cake stall so these French students could taste some of the lovely cakes that English children can make and I'm sure with the cake stall and other things we made a brilliant impression on them and they went home with a smile on their faces.
We think they made a fantastic impression too and I would like these nice people to come back some day. Sophie Troy said about meeting these students, " It was very lovely meeting them, I think it was great learning about them and their country."
